Can you mount a sight light to these new 3 pin housings?

    • No, not at this time.

Sure you can. The HHA light comes with the bracket. I have one of the first 3 pin housings off the line and have had light on it since day one

Even HHA told me you can’t. Or they said something to the effect that the mechanical rehostat would not function properly. Does the light interfer with your ability to adjust how much light gets to the fibers?

Nope not at all. Look my up on FB and I will send you a pic when I get home from work in the morning. It doesn’t affect the reostat on any of their sights and I have 6 of them

That would be great and I appreciate it. Let me know how to find you, there are lots of Tim Prices out there.

Did you ever find out how to mount the light on the king pin housing

          • Didn’t find out how he did it exactly, but I connected with Tim Price, and he sent me pictures of his 3 pin sight with the light mounting bracket and light attached. I guess I just assumed the light mounting bracket attached same as it would on HHA’s single pin housing as well. I actually opted to go with a Spott Hogg Fast Eddie XL. Haven’t even shot it yet but I will be soon. I almost pulled the trigger on the HHA, sorry Tim!

Any way you could pass those 3 pics along? I havent been able to find him on Facebook and he has not yet responded. I have the King Pin mounted on my Bowtech Realm and am suppose to shoot a night 3d shoot this weekend and could really use the pictures to see how it’s done.

Has a video been made on how to site in the 3 pin site with the dial ? It would be nice to watch before trying to site in

Not sure but it’s no different than sighting the Single pin. Just have to pick a pin to use after you have the three set. I center the middle one in the housing and then sight in at 30yrds. The first pin them at 20 and the third at 40. After that I have the middle pin centered in the housing for good alignment and follow the directions just like it was a single pin but us it. The middle pin also happens to be a different colour making it easier to pick up and not make a mistake of using the wrong pin by accident when using the dial.

HHA has videos on you tube detailing how to sight in their moveable sliders. Seems fairly straight forward to me.
