Several short films will be featured ranging from professional filmmakers to amateur artists and everything in between. A new format for 2017, the festival will showcase a “Feature” category and a “Short Film” category. Awards and prizes will be presented to the best films in each category at the end of the evening.

Event partners for the 2017 festival include Garmin, Prime/G5 Outdoors, Vortex Optics, Yeti Coolers, Benchmade Knives, Camp Chef, Stokerized, Phone Skope and more.

Badlands Marketing Director Blake VanTussenbrook said of the event, “This is our fourth time around and the event just gets better and better each year. Having Garmin involved this year just puts it over the top. Basically we’re trying to throw a big party for anyone who wants to get away and enjoy themselves for a night surrounded by hunting films and outdoor gear. It’s our way of thanking an industry who has helped us thrive for over 20 years.”

Free tickets to the event can be picked up at the Badlands or Garmin booths during the ATA tradeshow and will be available on a first come first served basis. Further information on submitting a film to the festival can be found at www.badlandspacks.com/filmfestival.
