The HHA Sports brand has been around a long time. With over 3 decades in the game, they’ve become a leader in the archery accessories industry, particularly with their award-winning single pin bow sights.

But what people may not know is that HHA jumped into the archery scene in 1984 with the launch of a folding stabilizer. It was the first of many top-end archery accessories from the company.

And for 2021, the company is back in the stabilizer game with the introduction of their new Tetra Stabilizer lineup. Check it out below.

Hha Tetra Stabilizer Review
The HHA Tetra Stabilizer line was built for balance and stability.

The Push for Better Balance

There’s been a growing number of archers adding a rear stabilizer to the mix to beef up the stabilization in their bow. It’s a pretty common scene on the tournament trail, but now more than ever, archers are adding a front and rear stabilizer to their hunting rig as well.

Why is this setup such a big deal?

The addition of a dual stabilizer system delivers greater balance, less noise, and a bow that is more stable than ever before.

The focus of this review will primarily cover the HHA Tetra Stabilizer Combo Kit with the 10″ and 8″ bars. But you also need to know about the Tetra LRZ Adjustable Stabilizer.

The LRZ features patented technology with internal and external dampening and gives the shooter the ability to micro-adjust the overall length of the unit from 6 to 10 inches. You simply twist it in or out until you reach your desired length. Lock it down and you’re good to go. The LRZ sells for $219.

However, as mentioned, for this review we’ll be taking a closer look at the fixed stabilizer combo kit. Check it out in the video below…

Tetra Options

The Tetra LR Stabilizer Combo Pack is available in several options, including the 10/8 system that includes a 10″ and 8″ bar, or the 8/6 system that includes the 8″ and 6″ bars.

Both kits include the VBar Bracket and Quick Disconnect to make setup and takedown quick and easy. The Quick Disconnect makes for a great system that allows you to easily ditch the bars for packing in a bow case or storage.

The combo includes the VBar and Quick Disconnect for quick and easy install and removal of your bars.

The VBar bracket features precision laser engraved length indicator lines for consistent adjustments. The VBar allows you to make independent horizontal and vertical axis adjustments.

The bracket is universal for right or left-handed shooters and weighs in at 4 ounces.

Got Weight?

The stabilizers are built tough, constructed from carbon tubes that provide the perfect blend of balance and durability. The stabilizers come standard with adequate weight right out of the box, but if you’re the shooter that likes to roll heavy with your bars, there are add-on weight options available in this lineup.

Weight add-on options include a 3-pack of 1-ounce weights that can easily be screwed onto the stabilizer to achieve the weight you desire. Another option includes a 1-piece, 4-ounce block that screws on to any Tetra stabilizer.

Want more weight? Add weight by the ounce, or with a 4-ounce block.

Making adjustments to the VBar to customize the placement of your rear bar is smooth and simple with a quick turn of an Allen tool.

Up or down, in or out, you can make the fine adjustments to put the rear bar exactly where you want it for the perfect balance for your bow.

The Tetra Stabilizer combo kit wears a price tag ranging from $289.99 – $319.99, depending on which model you choose.
