The older I get the more I appreciate a good European skull mount. My man cave, which has unfortunately been taken over primarily by kids toys these days, holds 3 European mounts of animals I’ve harvested over the years; two whitetail skulls and a pronghorn antelope that I killed on my first trip to hunt West of the Mississippi [Watch hunt]. All three mounts were set on expertly crafted wood plaques that, while they look nice, take up a lot of space. A few years back when I first saw the Skull Hooker product I was intrigued, but it wasn’t until just recently when I came to appreciate the compact design and adjustability of this little wonder.
The Skull Hooker isn’t an overly complicated product, which is part of what makes it so great.

So there you have it – as much of an in-depth look at the Skull Hooker as I can give you. If you have any European skull mounts looking for a new home check these little guys out. I was able to mount my skull, take these photos and write this blog all while my kids were napping. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
