Travis T-Bone Turner is easily the most lovable figure in the hunting industry. He’s humble, kind, and as genuine as they come. He’s a rare breed among the many attitudes and egos that run rampant across the industry today. Sadly, the man is currently facing some of his darkest days as he buckles down on his battle against Fibro Sarcoma cancer.
However, as we often see, some of the toughest times bring out the best in people. You’ll see it clearly in the overwhelming support of T-Bone by the hunting community.
If you’ve scrolled through social media in recent days, you’ve seen the tremendous outpouring of love and support for T-Bone. Hunters from around the world have been voicing care, concern, thoughts, and prayers for T-Bone through a variety of social media platforms. Countless hunters have changed their profile images to include T-Bone this week as he’s gone through surgery to amputate his leg to prevent the cancer from spreading throughout his body.
Michael Waddell recently interviewed T-Bone, on the Bone to Pick podcast, to share his story. If you haven’t heard it yet, be sure to check it out at the link below. It’s an emotional conversation that finds T-Bone pouring his heart out in gratitude for friends and family.
We’re praying for you, T-Bone! Keep the faith. Keep fighting – one day at a time. The hunting industry is in your corner.
