The 3D tournament season officially got underway this past weekend in Foley, Alabama with the popular ASA event that brings archers from across the country.

Team Mathews made another strong showing to kick the season off, claiming 6 podium spots, including first place finishes in three of the four Pro classes.

Levi Morgan took top honors in the Men’s Open Pro division, finishing with one of the best starts of his career.

“It’s been a few years since I have put together a 2-day tournament that solid to start the year,” says Morgan. “I’ve been doing this now professionally for almost 16 years and I know how rare it is for the plan to be executed perfectly. I try not ever to pray to win but instead I just pray that God will allow me to be calm and to have the right attitude. I don’t always stay calm, and I certainly don’t always win, but God is always in control and when it does all come together, it sure feels great. This game has been a blessing, and the guys I shoot against every tournament are the best in the world, and they will always have my respect. Thanks to everyone that watched! We started the year off with a win!”
