PSE Unveils 2022 Omen Compound Bow

In a mid-summer release, the crew at PSE just dropped their all-new 2022 Omen compound bow. The name speaks to the good things to come when putting this bow to work on the hunt. The bow is being touted as the new benchmark in energy transfer and efficiency, delivering blazing speeds of up to 356 feet-per-second, all while reducing the amount of energy needed from the shooter during the draw cycle.

It’s a speed bow built for a wider range of shooters with a design that maximizes speeds at every draw weight and length, and delivering incredible performance at full draw.

Believing that the moment at full draw can make or break your opportunity, the PSE team has built their new Full Draw Stability Technology, providing a more stable shooting experience thanks to its dynamic brace height. The Full Draw Stability system is designed to actively resist induced torque, resulting in increased accuracy when it matters most.

Meet the all new 2022 PSE Omen.

The Omen comes in two different cam options – the E2 and the S2. The cams were engineered for peak performance with a wider and more robust cam design.

Here’s a closer look at what you’ll find with these new cam systems…

  • Specifically designed for maximum energy transfer from limbs to arrow.
  • Maximizes performance across all draw length ranges for improved speeds at long and short draw lengths.
  • Cam payout tracks are 15% wider for greater load distribution across the axle.
  • Equipped with HL (90% – 80%) and LL (75% – 65%) let-off mods.
  • Wider draw stops providing a super solid back wall.

Full Draw Stability

Taking a closer look at the  FDS technology mentioned above, the bow is built for greater stability at full draw. How is this accomplished? It’s made possible through PSE’s new Full Draw Stability (FDS) system.

It’s a system built to provide a super stable shooting experience due to increasing dynamic brace height.

The system was designed to resist induced torque resulting in increased accuracy at the shot. It’s a stable design that gives the shooter a rock solid hold at full draw when the pressure is on.

PSE Limb Vise Pocket System

Greater stability is also accomplished through the Omen’s new Limb Vise pocket design. It’s built with a new and improved limb locking system with a 15% lighter weight than previous designs.

The system works as the limb pivots tighten against the handle surface to ensure the pocket remains centered over the riser.

PSE Guard-Lok Cable Slide

The bow features a slick and smooth cable slide system with ample adjustments for tuning and a dual screw mounting attachment for a rock solid mount that stays put.

The horizontal slide adjustment options allows you to shift the cable rod left or right without affecting shot consistency.

Precision Buss Tuning System

The tuning tweaks and abilities with this bow continue into the Precision Buss Tuning System. The system allows for micro-adjustment for superior precision.

Coupled with the wider payout tracks of the bow’s new cam system, the Omen delivers ample options for fine tuning, from top to bottom.

The new PSE Omen is ready to roll for any hunter looking for a little more speed in their hunting bow this fall. Be sure to check it out at your local PSE dealer, buy it at Lancaster Archery, or visit online at www.psearchery.com
