Buck Breaks Into Church on Opening Day of MI Deer Season

It was opening weekend of deer season in Michigan when pastor Luke Eicher, and wife, Amanda, of Grace Christian Fellowship in Sturgis heard a commotion in the sanctuary. They initially thought it was a burglar. After further investigation, they realized a white-tailed buck had broken into the church.

Take a look at how it all went down in the video below.

The deer had broken through a window and made its way up the stairs to the balcony. That’s where all the expensive A/V equipment is, so the pastor quickly did his best to encourage the buck back down the stairs.

The plan worked, and the buck quickly found the broken window where it had entered. The buck jumped back through the window making a quick escape.

The incident seems quite fitting that a buck would seek sanctuary on the opening day of hunting season.
