For anyone waiting and wondering what will come next for the future of the ATA Show, the answer has finally arrived.
There’s no question the ATA Show has been in a slump in recent years. Show attendance has been noticeably light the last few years, from both manufacturers and buyers. The question, “Can this continue?” seemed to be on everyone’s mind.
However, this week the Archery Trade Association cleared up any questions and concerns about what was coming next with the announcement of a new format and added events open to the public.

What's Coming in 2026?
The Archery Trade Association and the National Field Archery Association just announced plans for an all-new event in 2026. The new format will feature a multi-day archery and bowhunting event that will include an archery competition and brand new bowhunting expo open to the public.Â
The event will be held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis Jan. 7-11, 2026, bringing together the archery and bowhunting community for the archery event of the year.Â
January 7-8
The ATA Trade Show will move to a 2-day format, continuing as a members-only event focused on connecting retailers, manufacturers and industry professionals.Â
Attendees will be able to view new products, receive show-special pricing and offers, and meet face-to-face with company representatives.Â
January 9-10
Alongside the archery tournament, the ATA will debut the Archery & Bowhunting Supershow, a ticketed public event taking place January 9-10. This new event will attract archery and bowhunting enthusiasts from around the country to see a full line of products from some of the country’s leading archery and bowhunting manufacturers.Â
The Supershow is designed to provide manufacturers with a platform to showcase their full product lines, promote directly to bowhunters and target shooters, and drive customers to their local retailer.Â
These changes are expected to attract even more target shooters and bowhunters while increasing the number of exhibiting companies, helping drive more business to member retail shops.
January 9-11
In partnership with the NFAA, the Rushmore Rumble archery tournament, traditionally held In Yankton, South Dakota, will take place immediately following the ATA Trade Show.Â
This high-energy event, which draws archers from around the world, will attract target shooters to the year’s most anticipated archery gathering, building on the week’s momentum without disruption to the ATA Trade Show.
