Are Women Really More Attracted to Saddle Hunters?

By Brodie SwisherSeptember 17, 2020

If you spend any time scrolling through social media’s hunting scene these days, you probably know that saddle hunting has become the latest rage among deer hunters across the country. This ultra-light style of elevated hunting allows the mobile hunter the opportunity to lighten the load like never before.

And while some hunters like to think saddle hunting is a new method, the reality is, saddle hunting has been in the mix for decades. However, it’s only been in recent years that hunters have come to the realization that saddle hunting is now the cool thing to do.

That’s right. It’s an image booster.

Feeling inferior? Struggling with the ladies? Try saddle hunting to boost your game.

Hunters everywhere are realizing that saddles not only allow you to elevate your deer hunting game, but your social status, image, and impact on women as well.

Don’t believe it?

Need more proof that women really are more attracted to saddle hunters?

Let’s look at a few examples…

Women can't resist a stud in a saddle. @tethrdnation

The Hunting Public

The Hunting Public is one of the hottest hunting shows you’ll find on Youtube these days. The crew of guys once worked with Midwest Whitetail before starting their own show with a heavy emphasis on hunting public ground.

They got off to a great start in their first year with a decent following of avid hunters that loved their story. But it wasn’t until they strapped on a saddle and shimmied up the tree that their numbers began to climb as well. And it honestly seemed to happen overnight. One day they’re doing their best to be as cool as Jackie Bushman – the next day they’re at the top of the food chain in hunting web shows.

If you’ve followed their channel, you may know they have nearly 250,000 subscribers. What you may not know is that 95% of that viewing audience is women. Good looking women.

What made the difference? Saddles.

Are women really more attracted to saddle hunters? Just ask the crew from The Hunting Public.

Hunt Urban - Taylor Chamberlin

Taylor Chamberlin hunts deer year-round in the Washington D.C. area. His well-produced web show, Hunt Urban, showcases his quest to limit the number of nuisance deer around the nation’s capital. And as if the ability to honestly say, “I hunt year-round, bro,” wasn’t braggin’ rights enough, he does it all while wearing a saddle. Need more? Just check out the photo below. It pretty much speaks for itself.

Tethrd

Think you’ve pulled some crazy stunts to seal the deal with a lady? We’ve all been there. Guys will try all kind of tricks and gimmicks to win a woman over. Just ask Ernie Power and Greg Godfrey.

Greg Godfrey and Ernie Power of Tethrd. @tethrdnation

These guys started Tethrd – one of the leading saddle companies in the hunting industry these days. They are a testimony to the fact that you don’t have to have good looks and a body like Babe Winkleman to get a woman –  you simply need a well-worn saddle. They are living proof that women love a well Tethrd man.
