Hearing: Protect It Or Lose It

By Bow StaffJuly 16, 20161 Comment

Sure, this is a bowhunting website. And despite the fact that the weapons we choose to hunt deer with don’t typically make any ear-damaging noise, we know that most of our audience also indulges in some other shooting sports throughout the year. Duck hunting, trap shooting, predator hunting, or just bustin’ caps with your pistol…there are times that your ears are subjected to some pretty damaging decibels.

So we offer a simple reminder – don’t wait until it’s too late to protect your ears. As Eva Shockey states in the video below, once your hearing is gone, you can never get it back.

Eva Shockey with Walkers

Eva Shockey and the crew at Walker’s are committed to helping others avoid hearing loss from the shooting sports we enjoy so much.

Walker’s new hearing protection campaign with Eva Shockey, Protect It Or Lose It, hammers home the need to use hearing protection while you’re young, so you can enjoy your hearing when you’re older.
