There’s been a lot of buzz stirring the last few days over the Groundhog Max ATV Disc Plow. As food plot preparation and management efforts continue to become a growing trend among whitetail hunters, the need for quality tools for hunters without access to tractors and other large equipment. The ATV Disc Plow seems to meet this need really well.
This plow is incredibly versatile, with a design to save you time, gas, and money. It honestly allows you to make food plot work a one-man show. No heavy lifting or back breaking chores when it comes to working with this one.
How does it work?
The patented design utilizes the machine’s weight and the riders weight to force the disc into the ground. More weight equals a better cut. The small pull-behind style ATV discs typically require you to load extra weight to make it cut. The Groundhog Max does not.
The plow’s graduated disc setup of 2 10-inch notched center blades, 2 9-inch notched middle blades, and 2 8-inch notched outside blades make an aggressive cut time after time, with little or no maintenance required.
The plow is also very versatile, allowing you to plow at speeds of 4-7mph. It’s super easy to maneuver in tight spots due to the fact that you can use the unit in reverse. It’s quite likely the best possible option for creating food plots in hard to reach areas and hidey holes that prevent the use of farm equipment.
