With Christmas fast approaching I have begun to think about my “wish” list. And while there is certainly too many items to cover in one blog, here are a couple things that have my attention thus far.

Carbon Express has a new lighted nock called the LaunchPad that is said to be one of the lightest lighted nocks on the market. It does not interfere with front of center balance. A built-in alignment system ensures the nocks fit perfectly and fly like a dart. The LaunchPad requires no magnets for activation, lights automatically when the arrow is shot, and is extra bright. Its’ simplistic design ensures trouble free use. To learn more, visit

Pine Ridge Archery makes a variety of archery products. A perfect stocking stuffer that every bowhunter needs is a Stabilizer. The Nitro Stabilizer from Pine Ridge Archery is the perfect stabilizer for Mathews owners. It comes in Lost Camo and a variety of other colors. They also have brightly colored wrist slings, peep sights and peep sight tubing. For more information, visit

Carbon Express has a new arrow called the Maxima Red ($85/6) that will please hardcore bowhunters. The Red has stiffer ends than previous arrows, resulting in a more controlled dynamic spine which means less oscillation in flight and more accuracy downrange. The Maxima Red arrows are laser checked for straightness of, +/- .0025. They come with the new Carbon Express LaunchPad nocks that are said to provide better shaft alignment. To learn more,

Many of us enjoy feeding wildlife during the winter. Many bowhunters also use bait. The Outpost Feeder is the perfect feeder for the hunter who likes feeding wildlife or hunting over bait. The Outpost Feeder is designed to be hung off the beaten path. It holds twenty pounds of corn, is designed to blend in with the trees so other hunters can’t see it and comes with a carry sack that doubles as a feed carrying sack after the feeder is hung in the woods. Many hunters have a secret spot where they hang a stand or have a scouting camera. The Outpost Feeder is perfect for the “secret spot.” To learn more, visit
