Gear Review: Bowsaver

There are times when I come across products and I just think to myself “this should be the product of the year”! Well, without a doubt the Bowsaver should be put in that category. I have tested and used several bow holders and they were all great, lightweight and practical but the Bowsaver takes the cake when it comes to all around usefulness. Even better, it is made right here in the good old USA.

For those bowhunters and archers who are constantly outside perfecting their skills, a good, quality bow-holder is a must.

Weighing in at only 18lbs, I have had mine outside and setup for a little over three months and it has remained standing even during high wind alert days when we had wind gusts of up to 50 mph. The tripod or three-point leg system is the reason for this. The top grade steel, solid welds and a very durable coating has yet to chip or show signs of rust since it was put outside a little over three months ago. This speaks volumes for the quality and craftsmanship of the Bowsaver and its 100% “Lifetime” warranty guarantee.

The Bowsaver is a unique product that does more than just hold your bow.

When the Bowsaver arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see that I didn’t need any tools to assemble it. The top simply slid on and was locked in with a rust resistant pin.  Each area to hang your bow has a rubber cushion to keep any damage from occurring to your bow. Even with four bows hanging on it the top the Bowsaver is not affected by the weight. Not only does the Bowsaver hold your bow, it can even hold your rangefinder and binos on the well-thought out hanger that is located between the two cup holders. The two cup holders keep you from getting thirsty or finding dirt on your water bottle from having to pick it up off the ground. The tube to hold your arrows has a drain hole in the bottom to keep water from building up in it and the height can be easily and quickly adjusted as well.

There are a ton of added features (see pics above) that come with the Bowsaver that make shooting more enjoyable.

I cannot say enough about this product and its versatility and practicality. It is priced at $289.00 and yes it may seem a tad steep for a bow hanger but, the Bowsaver is a “lifetime” investment that not only protects your bow (or bows) for many years to come but, can be used in deer camp to hang gear on or can be purchased for school archery programs and so much more. It makes shooting with friends convenient, easy and most of all fun.
