NAP Quiktune 360 Capture Rest Review

When it comes to my hunting bow, before I will even consider using a particular bow rest it must boast certain features. Must haves are; full arrow containment, no moving parts, lite weight and simple to use.

The Quiktune 360 Capture Rest by New Archery Products fits my must have criteria perfectly. It is extremely simple to use with no moving parts what-so-ever and offers full containment of my arrow at a very lite weight.

Here you can see a profile view of the rest, it is very slim and does not clutter up the shelf area of your bow with large launcher arms or linkage.

Attached to the aluminum housing are three arms that fully capture your arrow in any position without causing fletching damage from your arrow vanes contacting any bristles.  Whether you hang your bow from a tree arm or rest it on your lap, your arrow is locked in shooting position and ready to be sent downrange at any time. Even after a hard letdown from full draw the Quiktune 360 keeps your arrow in place and ready to go if another shot opportunity is presented. There is no launcher arm to check or recock after letting down, so you can keep your attention on your hunt and not your equipment. Another huge plus to me is there is no linkage string from the rest to the down cable to lift a drop aways launcher arm. Again, just one less thing to worry about.

The 360 Capture rest is very easy to set up and adjust. It is as simple as grabbing an allen wrench and attaching it with the hex bolt to the burger hole and then snugging the set screw to the riser.

Adjusting the rest for center shot, nock height and arrow diameter is simple as well.  Lets start with center shot. In the following photo you will see an allen head facing down on the bottom of the rest. Just loosen that bolt and slide the barrel left or right to correlate with your bows center. There are laser graduations on the barrel that come in handy for reference while making minute adjustments.

The laser graduations are hard to see in this photo, but stand out well in person.

For setting the rest for your arrows diameter, you just loosen the hex head set screw that is located at the bottom below the launcher arm (pictured above) and slide the launcher arm up or down until you have your arrow nearly touching the top bristles and re-tighten.

Finally, to adjust for nock height you just loosen the hex screw on the right hand outside edge of the barrel and slide the rest up or down to the location you need.  Again as with center shot, the 360 Capture Rest features laser graduations to help in the fine tuning of nock height (pictured above). That said, you are now ready to shoot!

If you are looking for a well built and simple to use rest to take to the woods with you this year, I suggest taking a look at the NAP 360 Capture Rest.  NAP has a long history of offering quality products at a good price and the 360 is no different.
