Well the first day of the Archery trade show was an absolute success. We were able to see many different vendors and all the new products that they have coming out in 2010.

As we all know ground blind hunting has become a significantly bigger deal in the last few years. Pine Ridge Archery Products has come out with a new ground blind camera mount that is easy to install. This is great for guys who want to do self filming.

Reconyx has hit a home run at the 2010 ATA Show coming out with an all new trail camera that is half the size of the previous models with more features. I’m looking forward to testing this unit out in the field as their products continue to get better and better as the years progress. You can see the comparison below, the newer camera is on the left.

Moultrie’s Power Panel is a great option for guys looking to get extended battery life out of their Moultrie cameras. The Power Panel is built so that when it’s plugged into your trail camera it auto senses that it is there and it will drain the battery out of the panel first before draining the battery out of the unit itself. This also works on the older model, the I-40 and is great for guys looking to get extended battery life out of their units.

I stopped and talked to Eric at the ScentBlocker booth. Brian did a great job filming the new products that are coming out for 2010. Stay tuned to see videos of their new boots.

Leave it to BowTech to come up with some interesting ways to draw additional attention to their booth. They were giving out free tattoos. As I snapped out this photo, I unfortunately forgot the fellow’s name, but he remembered watching the DVD and seeing the monster buck I shot a couple of years ago. Super nice guy and I tell you what, he has a lot more guts than I do to take his shirt off in front of thousands of people at the ATA and get a tattoo.

Marc Baird, one of the Producers of The Crush TV show, decided that he found himself a new bag to use during the ATA Show!

Here I am with Andy Simos, the owner of New Archery Products, standing at their booth. We had a chance to discuss some of their new products coming out for 2010, including the Spitfire Edge, BloodRunner 2-Blade and the Apache to name a few

I Also had a chance to sit down and meet with a new TV show that will be airing in June, “The Legends of the Fall”. This dynamic team is going to make up one heck of a show this fall for all whitetail hunting enthusiasts. We are looking forward to building their all new website this month and we should have it up shortly.
