The staff at Bowhunting.com thought they would bring you this bizarre story coming to us out of the state of Montana.

On Wednesday, January 14th, 2009, Great Falls resident, Keith Stump, pleaded guilty to an assault charge in District Court. The bizarre part was that the man used a whitetail antler to do the assaulting.

The 38 year old, Cascade County man, told the Judge the incident began way back in September when somebody stole his television set. Mr. Stump called the police, but after a slow response from them, decided to begin drinking. A friend then told Stump who may have taken the television; at which point he proceeded to the man's house.

When Stump arrived he found his ex-girlfriend with the other man, then grabbed an antler and stabbed her several times.

The woman did not seek immediate medical attention, but did go to the hospital several days later.

Cascade County prosecutors dropped the initial charge of aggravated burglary in exchange for Keith Stump's guilty plea.
