What are your guys opinions on repairing broken tines on a harvested whitetail buck? Some people have the opinion that if the rack is damaged from fighting prior to harvesting that it should be left that way; however, if the antlers sustain damage after the shot (due to crashing off rocks, for example) then any broken tines should be repaired. Do you guys have any thoughts on this?

This is really a matter of personal preference.  For me, I would leave the animal was it was when I shot it.  So if there was a broken tine, beam, etc I'm not going to worry about repairing it.  If the animal breaks off part of it's rack after the shot, then I would consider getting it repaired depending on how extensive the damage is.
