Justin/Todd, What is the rule of thumb for peeing while hunting whitetail? I was always taught to use a bottle, but some people I know just let it fly off their stand and it doesn’t seem to hurt their luck. I also know people who have peed in a mock scrape and get bucks showing up on camera that same day. Can you enlighten me?!

I used to be a hold it until your eyes are swimming or pee in a bottle guy, until Clinton and Franki told me they peed from their stands all the time and were killing way bigger deer than I was.  My mind was blown!  So I started letting it go from the stand and have never seen a deer have a negative reaction to it.  I don’t pee in scrapes, but know plenty of guys that do.  Todd pees from his stand as well and still shoots plenty of deer.  So let ‘er rip!
