I’ve been hunting rifle in new york state for about 6 years, and looking to get into bow hunting next season. Bow season offers a much more profound opportunity on Long Island to get my first. Unfortunately, I am right-hand, but left-eye dominant. I shoot and do everything else right-handed. Since I haven’t truly developed my form with a bow would you suggest I start lefty with better accuracy and build arm strength, or shoot righty and try to train my non-dominant eye?

Welcome to my world! I am left-eye dominant, but do everything right-handed. If you can learn to shoot left-handed, it will be easier for you aiming-wise. But for me, I just couldn't get comfortable trying to shoot left-handed. So to combat my left eye taking over, I learned to shoot while squinting and sometimes even just closing my left eye entirely. This might affect your low-light shooting a little bit, but if you feel more comfortable drawing and holding a bow back right-handed, that's what you'll have to do.
