Being on a small parcel of property, there's not much you can do other than wait for him to start moving more in daylight. Once the rut starts getting closer, he will most likely be up and moving around more during daylight. Make sure you're there early and you can try some calls as well. Rattling and grunting work really well starting in late October.
If you were on a larger piece of property you could try moving closer to where he's coming from in hopes of catching him during daylight. But that's not always possible on small pieces of property.
