I shoot 62lbs and my shoulder is always sore should I back the poundage down? I’ve always shot at 62 lbs but I am 66 years old now.

Age catches up to us all at some point!  I would definitely consider backing your draw weight down to whatever is comfortable and allows you to shoot without shoulder pain.  I killed plenty of deer in my early bowhunting career shooting a 40 lb bow.  It doesn't take much to get the job done.
