The Bowhunting.com crew is back in Turkey Town! Welcome to the 2025 NWTF Convention & Sport Show in Nashville, Tennessee! This is the place to be for all things wild turkey. From turkey calling and hunting, to taxidermy and conservation, you’ll find it all at this year’s show.
The show runs Thursday through Saturday (February 13-15) at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville.
There are endless opportunities to test or buy hunting gear of all kinds, particularly the year’s best turkey hunting gear. But there’s also a wide range of deer, duck and predator gear on display as well.Â
Our friends at Tethrd have ample space at this year’s show to try out their saddle hunting gear for deer hunters, as well as their M2 Turkey Vest that raises the bar in modularity for turkey vests.Â
The endless sounds of turkey calls across the exhibit hall will drive most any hunter to the point of purchasing new calls at the show. Fortunately, the opportunities are seemingly endless here as well.Â
You can buy most any call you can imagine at the show. From inexpensive mouth calls, to high-dollar, custom collectible calls, you’ll find the calls you’re looking for here.Â
There was also a good bit of buzz around the revival of Knight & Hale Game Calls at this year’s show. The brand has fallen off the radar in recent years, but they’re back and delivering some really solid turkey hunting gear for 2025. From calls and camo accessories, to turkey vests, loungers and everything in between; there’s an exciting lineup of turkey and deer gear back in the mix from Knight & Hale.Â
Even better, we had a chance to visit with Harold Knight and David Hale in the booth this year. Hale’s health as been declining in recent years, so it was really good to see him make it to the show one more time.Â
Everywhere you look, you’ll see Bottomland camo clad hunters at the show each year. That’s because Mossy Oak is the official sponsor of the annual NWTF Convention & Sport Show.Â
As they’ve done in the past, they had a number of new releases on hand to kick off what they refer to as the beginning of Turkey Time each year.Â
They launched the re-introduction of their classic Strap Vest turkey vest, as well as an old favorite in the camo line, Full Foliage. One thing is clear, the love and nostalgia for vintage camo and gear is alive and well at this year’s show.Â
Calling contests are also underway as the best turkey callers in the country compete for the highest honors in the turkey calling world.Â
From the youngest of poults taking the stage for the first time, to the veteran turkey callers that go head to head every year, the Grand National Calling Championship is truly the Super Bowl of turkey calling.Â
You’ll also want to be sure to stop in, and visit with the guys at the Bowhunting.com booth. Buy some BHOD swag, grab a few decals, and be sure to sign up for the Mathews bow giveaway that’s going on now.Â
Once again, we took a handful of questions to some of our friends and favorite turkey hunters on the show floor to see what they had to say. Check it out in the video below.
