We had a chance to lay hands on the new-for-2020 Spartan GoLive camera at the 2020 ATA show. There was a lot of buzz about this new camera and the features the company added in to this camera to make a great camera, even better.

The GoLive camera is built off the GhostCam platform. It’s a system that works incredibly well. However, the new GoLive camera features the added benefit of a the ability to “go live” on demand to see what’s in front of your  camera at any given time.

See what's happening at your mock scrape, mineral lick, or food plot, anytime, on demand.

Out of the Box

The contents list for the GoLive camera is short and simple. You’ll simply find the camera, antenna, tree strap, and instructions. There’s no complicated assembly or setup process. You simply screw on the antenna, add 12 AA batteries, attach the  strap, and you’re ready to go.

The Spartan GoLive camera changes the game in gathering intel for hunters.

A Closer Look at the Spartan GoLive

I placed the camera on my home farm for testing and demos.

Take a closer look at what I found in the video below…

GoLive on Demand

The slickest feature on the new GoLive camera is easily its ability to live stream on demand. As previously mentioned, the GoLive camera is basically the GhostCam platform with the addition of the ability to do live streaming.

It’ll send you real-time photo images, as well as live streaming video with audio.

Watch a demo of the  GoLive in action below…

Want to see what’s taking place at your food plot, mineral lick, or feeder at any given moment?

This camera allows you to do just that. The GoLive truly changes the game when it comes to intel on the properties you hunt.

GPS Locator

Spartan cameras aren’t cheap. They are honestly one of the more expensive cameras on the market. So for those willing to make the investment on such a high-end camera, peace of mind comes standard on the GoLive with a built in GPS locator to protect your investment.

It’s got an internal rechargeable battery, so even if someone tries to steal your camera, and ditches the AA batteries, you’ll still be able to track down the thief through your phone via the GPS locator built into the GoLive camera.

Even if a thief removes the batteries from your camera, the internal GPS locator allows you to track down your camera.

Mobile App Organization

The Spartan Camera mobile app makes things quick and easy with all the functions, setup and organization made easy, right from the palm of your hand.

You’ll be able to view photos, videos and go live. It’s really slick and really simple.

Spartan's mobile app makes receiving the most recent information easier than ever.

Final Thoughts

The  only  downside I can find on this camera is the pricetag it wears. The camera is priced at $499.95. The killer quality photos, video, and ability to go live won’t come cheap.

But, when you consider that Spartan has made this camera easy to find in the event of theft, it’s a little easier of an investment when you know your equipment is better protected.

The camera is coming soon! It should be available in time to catch all the rut activity on the property you’re hunting this season.
