Bear Archery has long been a trusted name in the world of bowhunting and for good reason. With a rich history of innovation and dedication to real-world performance, the brand continues to push the envelope with each new release.
Their latest offering, the Bear Adapt 2 HP, is no exception. Developed in partnership with The Hunting Public crew, the Adapt 2 HP is built on the foundation of the original Adapt, but brings upgraded performance power to a bow designed for today’s avid bowhunter.
From the draw cycle to the shot, the Adapt 2 HP has been engineered with the serious bowhunter in mind. Whether you’re chasing whitetails in the timber or stalking elk out west, this bow was built with accuracy and adjustability in mind for a great fit and feel, all while being priced well below most bows on the market these days. In fact, at $579, the bow is priced less than half of most flagship bows on the market this year.
DHC Hybrid Cam System
What’s new with this latest version of the Adapt bow? At the heart of the Adapt 2 HP is Bear’s advanced DHC Hybrid Cam System. The previous versions of the Adapt feature a single cam design. That’s all changed for 2025. On this latest option, you’ll now find the DHC Hybrid Cam System, built for a smooth draw cycle and an upgrade in speed.
In fact, this cam is cranking out arrow speeds up to 330 feet per second (FPS) compared to 320 FPS in previous models of the bow. It also offers an 80% let-off, giving archers a comfortable hold at full draw while waiting for the perfect shot.
What makes the DHC Hybrid Cam particularly special is its blend of performance and adjustability. With a draw length range from 27” to 32”, and draw weight options of 45-60 lbs or 55-70 lbs, this bow can be fine-tuned to match almost any shooter’s preference or hunting scenario.
So whether you’re a seasoned veteran or just stepping into the world of compound bows, the Adapt 2 HP gives you the power to grow and adapt without switching gear.
Smooth, Silent, and Shock-Free
Let’s face it — in the woods, silence is deadly. The Adapt 2 HP was built to deliver stealth as well as performance in quiet and vibration free design. How? The Bear team says it’s the Complete Dampening System that makes the difference.
The system includes in-limb, in-riser, and string stop technology. These built-in features reduce noise and hand shock, providing a whisper-quiet release that’s critical in close-range encounters with wary game.
Comfort leads to consistency — and consistency leads to confidence. The Bear Adapt 2 HP comes standard with the Bear Paw Grip, designed for a natural, relaxed hand position that minimizes torque. It’s a subtle feature, but for bowhunters who spend hours in the stand or on the stalk, a secure and repeatable grip can pay off big when it matters most.
Combined with the bow’s 31-inch axle-to-axle length, the design strikes a perfect balance between maneuverability and stability. It’s short enough to handle easily in ground blinds or treestands, yet long enough to offer a steady, forgiving platform on longer shots.
Bonus OnX Elite Membership
As if the performance upgrades weren’t enough, Bear Archery sweetens the deal by including a 3-month OnX Elite Membership with every Adapt 2 HP purchase.
OnX has become a must-have tool for modern hunters, providing access to land boundaries, property ownership, public and private land overlays, and detailed terrain maps.
Whether you’re e-scouting a new area or planning your access route, this membership gives hunters a digital edge before ever stepping foot in the woods.
