Elite Archery continues to raise the bar for shootability and innovation, and their newest flagship — the Elite Varos — proves that premium performance doesn’t have to come with unnecessary complexity or pretense.Â
Priced at $1,299.99 in standard colors and $1,399.99 in target finishes, the Varos delivers an impressive mix of speed, comfort, and tunability that will appeal to serious bowhunters and competitive shooters alike.

Power and Performance
At 32 inches axle-to-axle and capable of reaching IBO speeds up to 338 FPS, the Varos strikes the perfect balance between maneuverability and power.Â
The 32″ design feels like that sweet spot that’s compact enough for hunting ground blinds and treestand setups, yet it carries the stability and forgiveness you’d expect from a longer bow.Â
You’ll find that the generous 6 5/8-inch brace height helps keep the draw cycle smooth and the shot forgiving, a great combination for us hunters who know the demand for precision under pressure.
SP2 Cam System
The foundation of the Varos’ performance lies in Elite’s SP2 Cam System paired with VX Mods. We saw this cam on last year’s bow from Elite, and it gets the green light on this newest offering as well. And for good reason.Â
This cam system allows archers to fine-tune holding weight, draw cycle, and overall feel, creating a truly custom shooting experience.Â
Whether you want a rock-solid back wall for target work or a slightly softer valley for extended holds in the woods, the SP2 Cams deliver Elite’s signature blend of control and comfort.
The VX Mods system provides adjustment in ¼-inch draw length increments, allowing archers to dial in an exact fit.Â
Combined with the SP2 Cams, the VX Mods offer a refined, customizable feel that caters to individual preferences for draw cycle, holding weight, and shot response.Â
Whether you’re chasing elk in the mountains or shooting 3D targets in competition, this level of adjustability ensures the bow performs exactly the way you want it to.
S.E.T. Technology
Elite’s hallmark S.E.T. (Simplified. Exact. Tuning.) Technology returns on the Varos, allowing micro-adjustments to the limb pivot angle and cam position.Â
These fine-tuning controls help correct arrow flight, eliminate paper tears, and perfect center shot alignment.Â
The result is cleaner, more consistent arrow flight and improved downrange accuracy — without the trial-and-error frustration often associated with tuning.
R.A.C. System
Elite also introduces the R.A.C. (Rail Accessory Connection) System, which integrates Picatinny-style mounts on both the riser and limb pockets.Â
This allows shooters to easily attach compatible accessories such as sights, bow stands, slings and more without the add-ons and extras.Â
The result is a clean, efficient setup that keeps everything streamlined and rock-solid.
Micro Splitters
The Varos has plenty of great features we’ve seen carried over from previous bow models from Elite, but what the real buzz is about for this 2026 option is the introduction of Micro Splitters — an all-new feature that lets shooters adjust cam timing without a bow press.Â
A quick turn of a screw provides precise timing control in the field, ensuring the bow stays perfectly synchronized through changing conditions or string stretch.Â
It’s super simple with nothing more than a turn of an Allen tool to loosen the system, then a turn of the drive screw to make the adjustment, then lock it back down. It’s quick, easy and a super efficient way to keep your cams where they need to be, without the need for a bow press.Â
Performance on the Range
To get a feel for real-world performance, I stepped out on the range with my hunting arrow setup. The test bow I shot was set up at 28″ draw length and cranked down to 70 pounds draw weight. Â
With my Easton Axis hunting arrows weighing in at 412 grains, I consistently got speeds of 296 FPS out of the bow through the Garmin chrono. Â
Final Thoughts
The Elite Varos is a bow that embodies the brand’s evolution — sleek, smart, and super shootable.
It brings together proven Elite technologies like S.E.T., with cutting-edge upgrades like Micro Splitters and the R.A.C. System, offering one of the most user-friendly and tunable bows on the market.
For bowhunters who value precision, comfort, and field-ready performance, the Varos delivers on every front.
The bow is ringing up at $1299 for solid color options and $1399 for target finish options.
