    I understand you have a limit of 40 yards to shoot deer with your bow and that’s good cause a man needs to know his limitations. But your limitation is not the same as another man’s limitation. I’ve successfully shot many deer and other big game animals beyond 40 yards. The key is not to shoot at animals that are alarmed and to not alarm deer by making noise to stop them. Anyway, I enjoy your shows.

      Although it’s a “lottery” system IL gives enough non-resident tags that it’s all but guaranteed you’re going to get one. Whatever tags aren’t filled via the lottery go on sale over the counter in early August.
