Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past several years, you’ve likely heard of The Hunting Public. This group of DIY hunters travels the country each year, using aggressive tactics to get close to and shoot all sorts of critters, including some really good bucks – almost always on public land.
Several days ago they published a video that is, in my opinion, one of the most entertaining deer hunts ever captured on film. Hunting the early season in North Dakota, the guys spotted a buck a long ways off and spent the next few hours stalking up and shooting him on the ground, with multiple cameramen there to capture the entire thing.
So, if you’ve got about 40 minutes to spare, grab a drink, pull up a chair and enjoy one heck of a hunt. If this doesn’t get you fired up and make you want to grab your bow and run out to the woods, I don’t know what will.
