Do you find yourself using the 5’ hooyman saw more then the 10’ hooyman or other way around for the run and gun stand? I want to get one but i don’t know if i could get by with just the 5’ or I’d regret it. Just trying to keep down all the extra hear i carry in. Any response much appreciated!

You'll definitely want the longer saw. It's a little heavier and doesn't pack as nicely, but it's worth it if you can cut that one extra limb that's in your way! The last few years I've been using the Wicked Ultra Light pole saw and have been very happy with it for run & gun setups.
