The Sweet Thang™ from MossBack Game Calls is the closest thing to a custom call at a fraction of the price and 100% American Made. This game call produces smooth purrs that drive the Tom's wild and is handcrafted out of the finest selected Cedar. If you want a classic look with a superb sound then the Sweet Thang™ is for you. This call is also available in Lost Camo.

Operating Instructions:

  • Angle and Tension
The angle and tension of the lid have been pre-set which eliminates much of the practice required to develop proper lid angle and tension.

  • Holding the Call
There are many ways to hold and operate your call, we recommend you start by holding the box loosely. Just let it rest in your hand.

Using The Call:

  • Purr
Pull the lid across the lip, applying just enough pressure to make the lid vibrate as it’s pulled over the lip.

  • Yelp
Hold the box as recommended. With the paddle, softly stroke the side of the box with a forward then upward motion.

  • Cluck
Strike the lip with a very short movement of the lid, pulling the lid up off the lip as you make the stroke, or you can make the cluck by laying the lid on the lip, with the lid open about an inch, and barely holding it in place with the thumb of your left hand, then lightly tap the handle of the lid with the index finger of your right hand – just enough to make the single note of the cluck.

  • Cut and Cutting
Make this call the same as you would the cluck, only use moderate thumb pressure and sharply tap the lid in an irregular rhythm.

  • Cackle
The cackle is a series of very fast yelps, which trail off to normal yelps. A total of 10 to 12 notes is usually made.
