Sign-ups have just opened for the 2nd annual Bowhunting.Com deer contest!

Beginning in 2008, the Annual Bowhunting.Com deer contest proves to be a great way to meet other members from around the country as they pursue any one of the major deer species. Teams are randomly drawn (last season consisting of 4 members per team) to take part in this annual event. There are two possible ways to earn points for your team with either a buck or doe kill. The scores are based off the P&Y scoring system for bucks, and another 50 points are awarded for each doe kill, up to 1 buck and 1 doe per contestant.

Last year’s winners (Team 12, “The Big Buck Killers”) won with an outstanding total score of 537 4/8! Team 12 took a total of 4 whitetail bucks and 1 doe to “rack” up this entry score (pun intended). For their win last year, they will be the only team that will stay together and try to defend their title. Congratulations again to Team 12!

Below are the deer entered by our 2008 Bowhunting.Com champions, Team 12.
