By Bowhunting ContributorMay 22, 2020

Finding a good rangefinder that makes all ends meet but doesn’t cost an arm and a leg can be a difficult task.

Vortex has helped end that search with their new Impact 1000 Rangefinder!

New Impact 1000 Rangefinder

To most bowhunters, a rangefinder can be a necessity out in the field. This compact rangefinder offers a wide variety of features any hunter would love!

One of the best features on this rangefinder is the ability to have angle compensation as well as ranging anywhere from 5 yards all the way to 1000 yards on reflective targets.

How about deer hunting? This rangefinder can range a deer up to 500 years away, unlike the Vortex Impact 850 that only reaches 400 yards on deer and up to 850 yards on reflective targets.

New Impact 1000 Rangefinder

The Impact 1000 offers three different ranging modes: Angle Compensated Horizontal Component Distance (HCD), Line of Sight (LOS), and Scan, this gives hunters the choice of how they need to range for a shot.
