A Pope and Young Club Award is being presented during the Outdoor Film Festival events in recognition of outstanding film depicting ethical, fair chase bowhunting pursuit. Our goal is to showcase the ethics and foundations of bowhunting and elevate the focus on these standards in the depiction of bowhunting on film, video and television.

The first Pope and Young Club Outdoor Film Festival Award was presented during the inaugural Outdoor Film Festival Conservation Series event at the Wild Sheep Foundation’s 2014 Sheep Show last month.

That award went to Lincoln Tapp for his film “A Yukon Adventure” depicting his hunt for a Stone’s sheep when he was 12 years old.
