DIXON, CALIFORNIA (October 18, 2013) – KUIU’s Chugach Rain Gear line received the 2013 Editor’s Choice Award from Outdoor Life magazine for the best hunting raingear on the market. Thanks to the rigorous testing that products endure in order to receive Outdoor Life’s Editor’s Choice Award, it is considered one of the hardest-earned badges in the industry.
“Outdoor Life’s ratings give you the unbiased and accurate truth on outdoor gear,” said Andrew McKean, Editor of Outdoor Life. “Products are thoroughly tested, and winning items earn the title based exclusively on the hard data and scores. So when we say a particular item is the best, you can take that to the bank.”
To provide an unbiased assessment of the Best Hunting Raingear, Outdoor Life scored each piece on its performance in various categories during a specially designed and thorough testing process. The top scoring product is deemed an Outdoor Life Editor’s Choice Award winner. KUIU’s Chugach line received an overall excellent rating with four out of four stars, excelling in every category tested.
Outdoor Life complimented the great attention to detail in the Chugach’s design, and went on to describe the Chugach as “virtually bombproof” and “giving new meaning to the word ‘hydrophobic’.”
