Sanford Innovations Fortifies Up BloodShot Broadhead Construction
Billings, MT: With nearly two decades of broadhead design and testing experience Chris Sanford, Owner of Sanford Innovations is no stranger to understanding what makes broadheads successful in field and on the shop wall. In 2010 Sanford Innovations launched its inaugural product, the BloodShot with ample success. For 2011 Sanford Innovations announces further improvements to solidify the Blood Shot as one of the archery industry’s strongest and most advanced broadhead designs.
Designed and engineered for bows shooting up to 350fps, the hard-hitting BloodShot is the first broadhead to utilize a massive equal blade system that delivers true a cut-on-contact surface with lethal impact at every strike. It’s low profile design features 2.25″ of cutting surface equaling the industry’s most lethal fixed blade broadhead. Engineered from 100% solid steel, this broadhead it ultra-tough and will effortlessly survive impact with the densest bones as the heaviest hides prove inferior to its scalpel-sharp .040″ thick blades.

Sanford Innovations, Inc. was incorporated in 2009 by lifelong bowhunter Chris G. Sanford. Chris started shooting a bow at a very young age and has over 32 years of bowhunting experience in Canada, Alaska, and many other states. With over 30 archery entries/awards with the Pope and Young and Boone and Crockett Record Books combined, and brings a tremendous amount of archery expertise to the industry of making broadheads. As a veteran bowhunter, Sanford ventured into manufacturing after seeing the need for more powerful broadheads that consistently delivered excellent results in a wide variety of shooting conditions. He was determined to design broadheads hunters could trust to bring down big game animals, as well as deer and other smaller animals. Over the years, he utilized his extensive hunting and archery expertise to develop many different prototypes. Through thousands of tests and finessing the designs, Chris has engineered a number of patented and patent-pending broadheads that are revolutionizing the bowhunting industry – and more importantly – increasing the odds of hunters successfully harvesting their game.
