I tried using these once and after dipping the arrow and letting them sit there were air pockets with water in it under the wrap? Does yours do this and if it does what do you recommend?

Re: NAP QuickFletch Review

I have heard two things about these that has kept me from ordering them. 1st is that they dont shrink completely all the time. So after they have been dipped they are still lose. Secondly, is the arrow goes far enough through the target to contact the fletching they begin to work lose. The video you posted may or may not confirm both, one or none of these issue's being how easily the shrink wrap came off. Seems to me if the shrink wrap was sticking as it should it would be more difficult to peel off.

Re: NAP QuickFletch Review

I just installed a set of these. I haven't had a chance to use them a lot yet, let alone shooting through a target, but so far, so good. Note. I did not use hot water to shrink them. A hair dryer works well too. It may take a little longer to get it up to temp than a pot of boiling water, but you have more control. You can hold it in place while you set one end, and work from that end to the other to avoid trapping air. Take your time and make sure you get full shrinkage.
