Sunday Afternoon here. Um, Justin and I are actually back the the same stand that Justin shot his buck from last night. We would like to come back here not because it was the hottest stand, but we have a very lousy wind today. Very very swirling. Thermals are just rolling off the ground. In a counter clockwise motion so we were really expecting just to get to watch some deer today, sometimes you just have to bite down even though you want to go kill a deer. Today we are just gonna watch deer. WE might get lucky with rattling antlers, we have the grunt calls. Um theirs a possibility that if we see something in the distance we are gonna call to it. I won’t get my hopes up too much. Just in an observation sit tonight.

I was able to call him in. Just the stretch of 40 yards. Um I did try a shot. Held it for 30. Tried to put it a little higher. Hes probably between 36 and 37 yards of my shot. Clear miss. So he buggered off here. Stopped. Oh about another 70 yards out into the field. I almost had him come back again. But he found a doe. He was more interested in the doe, so. Just now sitting here for a little while. I havn’t missed a buck in a long time. Kind of stretched it a little.
