Re: The String Tamer GII

This String Tamer is the state of the art in string silencing. The sleek look and the functionality is second to none. The rubber stopper is soft and stays soft in cold weather unlike some of the competitors. Tha arrow comes off the bowstring consistantly and really does what it was designed for. I rate this a 9.5 out of 10. I would like to see the tamer in camo.

The String Tamer Generation II is by far the nicest stopper I have seen yet, completely universal, and an absolute breeze to set-up. Also, if you need to make an sdjustment due to the string stretching, it is a quick easy fix, no need to mess and tinker for long periods to get it back in the right place, loosen 2 screws and it is done.

Re: The String Tamer GII

I have tried them all, and this string tamer is by far the quietest. If you just look at its construction, you can see it far superior to other tamers out there. This is the best STS/string tamer that you can buy.

Re: The String Tamer GII

When I put the string tamer on my bow I started shooting tighter groups and it reduced a lot of vibrations.

The string tamer is very easy to use and install. I had another brand on my bow and when I put the string tamer on I was blown away by the difference the tamer made it made the shot whisper quiet and shock free you have to try one...

Very easy to install, and slick looking. When I installed it on my Contender it made a huge difference in vibration, and gained speed. Great product.

Re: The String Tamer GII

I installed the string stopper per instructions and was happy with the performance. However after a couple weeks of shooting it broke where the rod meets the brace mount. I take very good care of my equipment and I am not sure if I got a bad one or what? still waiting to hear from Norway regarding a replacement....

Re: The String Tamer GII

Got one of these for my Hoyt Turbo Hawk. It was the front mount style and it works Awesome! Very Impressed. also has a built in quick Disconnect for a stabilizer which is very handy. Although it would not tighten up correctly. I had to take it to my bow dealer and they had to use a bigger bolt, had to modify the quick disconnect to fit past the new bolt. But all in all i highly recommend it
