Chris and Eric returned this year to hunt with Doug Bennefield of Illinois Connection. It has been a very tough rut, but after a week of hard hunting the boys from Virginia made it happen. November 6th, The boys headed to a picked cornfield and immediately were in the action. At around 5 p.m. a mature 10 pt entered the field and presented Chris with a 44 yard shot. He made a great heart shot and the buck only made it to the edge of the woods and fell over.
