(This is the same as AMO compound, stretched bow string length.)When replacing a string on a compound bow, measure old string from tip to tip while on the bow. This is the actual stretched length to use. Some bows are marked with the AMO compound bow stretched string length.

Excessive wear on serving could indicate a change in shooting form is necessary to reduce string impact on armguard. To prolong string life keep string well waxed.
