French Dip Sandwich

A great CanCooker recipe for French Dip Sandwich!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 lbs chuck roast
  • 1 (10 3⁄4 oz) can French onion soup
  • 1 (10 3⁄4 oz) can beef consommé
  • 1 (10 3⁄4 oz) can condensed beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
  • 8-10 hoagie rolls
  • 8-10 slices Swiss cheese

Directions

Combine canned soups with bouillon granules, do not dilute soups.

Place the 2-piece stainless steel rack on bottom of the CanCooker and add the liquid mixture. Cut the chuck roast in half and place on top of the rack.
Latch lid and cook on low to medium heat. Steam for 25-30 minutes.

Remove meat and shred with forks. Pile meat on rolls and add Swiss cheese. Serve juice as dipping sauce on the side.
