As the National Deer Alliance (NDA) gains more and more supporters, they wish to welcome two of their newest members. The NDA is dedicated to unify the voices of hunters in the discussion of important topics that threaten hunters and deer.

The National Deer Alliance would like to announce that Don and Kandi Kisky have recently pledged their support of the National Deer Alliance. As hosts of the highly successful Outdoor Channel television show, Whitetail Freaks, the Kisky’s have joined the fight against all obstacles which threaten the nation’s deer herd today.

“In recent weeks the National Deer Alliance has received an impressive amount of support from many of the hunting industries most prominent voices,” stated Craig Dougherty, Executive Director of the NDA. “The addition of Don and Kandi is another substantial addition to those supporting the NDA. We’ve been overwhelmed by the huge support the industry is showing. It shows how we all pull together when our hunting heritage is threatened.”

Deer hunting has been a great tradition across much of the United States for decades. The memories and experiences that have been created by this great sport are endless but with the changing of times, numerous threats have endangered the future of deer hunting. Habitat loss, hunter access, disease, and increased predation have all resulted in declining deer populations throughout much of the nation. The NDA was created to turn the tables on this negative trend and bring all deer enthusiasts together in an effort to save our hunting heritage.

“The introduction of National Deer Alliance is a giant step forward in the fight against all things that threaten North America’s deer population,” stated Don and Kandi Kisky. “We are proud to join the group and encourage anyone who steps into the woods each fall to do the same. It is vital that we solidify a plentiful future for our up and coming deer hunters.”

Membership in the NDA is free and includes a comprehensive weekly e-newsletter on all things deer including: deer behavior, biology, hunting techniques and breakthroughs as well as issues impacting deer and deer hunting in North America.
