EUGENE, Ore. – BOWTECH Archery, the industry leader in archery innovation, is taking its flare for groundbreaking ideas to the world’s largest social network by launching a Facebook page specifically for female bowhunters. The page launches May 1 at www.Facebook.com/bowtecharcherywomen
and will aim to be the ideal online meeting place for female bowhunters of all ages and skill levels.
“BOWTECH continues to deliver high performance bows for women like the Carbon Rose, but we want to further equip female archers with a community all their own,” said Jeff Suiter of BOWTECH Marketing. “Two of our female staff members are managing the page as Corporate Ambassadors and they are dedicated to creating a fun online community with compelling information and content.”
In addition to content from BOWTECH Corporate Ambassadors, the page will also include posts from BOWTECH Ambassadors, female pro staff members and female outdoor celebrities like Eva Shockey, co-host of Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures.
The Facebook page will also provide reports from the field, tips and tricks, equipment features and giveaways along with spotlights on the Facebook fans themselves.
“We’re incredibly excited to get started on this project and we’re extending an invitation to any and all female bowhunters to join us,” said Beth Crow and Michelle Dawson, Corporate Ambassadors for BOWTECH Women. “Our motto and our hashtag is #ShootOn, and that’s what we plan to do with thousands of like-minded women in the outdoor industry.”
