Katie FrickerAfter moving from Tennessee to Michigan during high school, Fricker attended Western Michigan University where she pursued a degree in Graphics and Printing Science. After college she was hired as a graphic designer in Grand Rapids, MI where she stayed for two years.

“It happened by chance that I found the job opportunity here at Bohning. I have friends in the Cadillac, MI area who saw the posting for the job. They knew I was looking for a change in my career so they forwarded it to me. I realized the potential of the career described in the post and applied right away. It has been a lot of excitement all at once.” -Katie Fricker

“I am excited to have Katie as part of our sales and marketing team. She brings the energy and creative spirit that will help keep Bohning at the forefront of our industry. Her passion for the outdoors will translate well to the archery industry. She will have a bow in her hands this week and she is looking forward to learning to shoot!” says Bohning’s V.P. Sales & Marketing, Stacey Randall.

“As a hobby I race snowmobiles in the Michigan circuit and drag race a vintage 1967 Pontiac Firebird. In July I won a head to head competition at the US-131 Motorsports Park. In 2012 I placed 2nd in the women’s sport division in Michigan Extreme Racing snocross. I am excited to be part of this incredible industry and increase my archery knowledge. I look forward to the challenge and am prepared to learn everything I can to exceed company and industry expectations. My family has always hunted and fished and my Dad recently took up bow hunting. Now I have the opportunity to jump into the industry full force and hunt our family farm land in Ohio. Everyone here is willing to give advice and help get me acclimated to archery. I am excited to see what the future holds, and hopefully I can fit right into the archery industry and find a new passion I didn’t know I was missing!”
