A 320" Buck! Could it be true?!

Could it be? A possible World Record whitetail buck reportedly boasting nearly 40 points and a mind-boggling 320" of bone!

Or is it myth? A hoax of the cruelest kind, tugging away at our heartstrings and tearing away at any bowhunters dream.

Whatever the case may be, this picture has been screaming its way across the internet for several days now with reports of its record kill from about 15 different states. Illinois being its latest farce, if it is one.

The infamous tail-gate shot, something to be proud of. You'd think the hunter might want to get in on this??

The most plausible story comes out of the great state of Wisconsin where it is said to have been harvested out of a high-fenced outfitter. Although one could only ask why there's no hunter posing with the now legendary '320' buck??

The staff and readers at Bowhunting.Com are interested in the details of this hunt. We are looking for any information anyone might have on this incredible buck. We want to know the who, the when, and the how? If you have any information about this internet buck please send it to info@bowhunting.com.

Don't want to sound pessimistic but could this be an illegal deer? I could be wrong I miss a lot of obvious things sometimes but I don't see a tag anywhere and if it's already been moved out of the field it should be tagged. Nice buck if it is real. Photo shop does some neat stuff however :)

maybe the story of it being taken on a "high fenced deer ranch" are true and the so called "hunter" is too embarrassed to be in the photo. to each their own but, any deer regardless of its size taken on a high fenced piece of property isnt really a true trophy, its not hunting to me if your hunting pen raised animals.  there are those kinds of so called hunters, and then theres us, the fair chase, hard working hunters, that do it the hard way, the right way, and thats why when we do harvest a deer its so much more fulfilling and rewarding!! so whatever the true story is behind this buck, if it is indeed real, and the hunter did harvest it on a non high fenced piece of property, well then congrats, my hat goes off to you, you got one hellava trophy!

High fence hunting isnt true hunting! If u hunt high fence you might as well shoot someones pet in there back yard! It isnt hunting its killing and thats not what a sportsman is. Hes a hunter not a killer!!!!!

Frickin Steroids or Photoshop I say. No hunter pictured makes it pretty obvious, who wouldn't pose with a world record deer unless they were Amish.

I got this from my girlfriend. She worked with a guy this summer in SD for the BLM. The guy's buddy shot this deer in the Wildcat hills area of Nebraska. This is not a pen raised deer nor someones backyard giant. Its an animal that grew up on a large chunk of public land believe it or not. It green scored 332 inches. 41 points. 43 inch spread. 35 inch main beams, and 7.5 inch bases.

These are guys that "know" how to hunt. They are guides basically and have taken hundreds if not thousands of people hunting in the Western Heartland States and Eastern Rockies. They don't necessarily like all the attention, but are a bunch of blue collar guys.

To also help aid people in seeing if this is true, at least geographically. Look at the Red Cedar in the back ground

I got a this on a forward.  Everyone told me it was shot in Indiana about an hour or 2 from where I live.  I saw the buck and it wasn't 320 inches, it was 320 pounds.

This buck was killed in Marshall County, Kansas. Near Tuttle Creek Wildife Area.  I know this for a fact. I also live in Marshall County and know this was a local buck.  Hope this clears it up a little.  It wasn't 320" or 320 lbs.  It was, however, well over 200"
