The Obsession line of bows has come on strong in recent years and has a fast-growing following of archers. Their new Fusion 6 bow caught a lot of attention at the ATA Show this year with its blazing speed and smooth handling. In fact, the crew at Obsession says it’s the fastest and most technologically advanced bow they’ve ever built. The Fusion 6 features a gracious valley and a rock solid wall. Features of the Fusion 6 include a 6” brace height, 32” axle to axle, draw weights of 40, 50, 60, 65, 70, and 80, draw lengths from 26 ½” – 30”, physical weight of 4.1 lbs, and 80% let-off.

New Breed Archery Blade

New Breed Archery is another fairly new bow company that has continued to produce some great product offerings each year. The company was proud to release their new Blade bow at this year’s ATA show. The Blade uses design innovation to achieve what New Breed considers one of the quietest, most powerful, and deadly accurate bows on the market today. The titanium bolt kit and stainless steel hardware, fluted riser and two-piece extended pocket design are at the forefront of new innovation for the Blade. Xpedition Archery Xcentric 7

The guys at Xpedition Archery have unleashed a new bow for 2015 with their Xcentric 7. The company says this bow is for the shooter that wants the unbridled horsepower and smooth shooting characteristics of their original Xcentric bow but prefers a more forgiving brace height. The Xcentric 7 utilizes the same patent pending XS hybrid cam and ATR cable guard technology, delivering what many will consider to be the best all-around bow available in 2015. With a 344 feet per second IBO speed rating and a 7″ brace height, the new Xcentric 7 will solidify this bow as a great choice for archers. Athens Archery

The folks from Athens Archery made the short drive up the road to Indianapolis from their home base in Rochester, IN to be a part of this year’s ATA Show. I really like what I saw and heard from these guys on their Solace bow. Their Tetra Limb System and NSX Cam System result in a super-efficient shooting machine that launches arrows at speeds up to 335 fps. Their focus on vibration and noise dampening make this bow a joy to shoot and deadly quiet. With the release of the NITRUM 30, HOYT has again pushed the possibilities of aluminum riser bows. The offset riser design allows decreased noise and vibration.
