Tree Stand Safety Awareness Month

By Hunting NetworkAugust 3, 2015

August is the peak time of the year when hunters across the U.S. really begin to get serious about making preparation for the upcoming hunting season, Tree Stand Safety Awareness (TSSA) has labeled the month of August as Tree Stand Safety Awareness Month. TSSA Month will culminate in a coordinated effort by manufacturers, retailers, media, hunter educators, DNR Departments and the hunting public to promote a consistent message of tree-stand safety.

tssalogoYou’ll be hearing a lot from the Bowhunting.com crew in the weeks ahead on the issue. The need for tree stand safety simply cannot be stressed enough. Your family is counting on you to return home safely at the end of the day. You owe it to your spouse, kids, and other family members to make every effort to stay safe every time you step into the woods. With the great products from our friends at Hunter Safety System, there is no excuse for hunting unprotected. Never even think about taking the first step off the ground without wearing a tree stand harness and being tied in to the LifeLine.
